Angry Help!!!

My 1998 model XK8 convertible failed it's MOT on Saturday because one of the four seat holding down bolts is missing. Can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement, as I understand the bolts are special?

Secondly the car failed because the Adamesh supplied LED headlights were wired incorrectly, i.e. when dipped lights were on, main beam lit, and vice versa. This problem I solved by cutting and rejoining the wires, problem solved.

Jaguar Dealer but could be surprisingly costly even if available.

No reason not to try to source a used item from one of the specialist UK Jaguar breakers such as JoJags or Eurojag.

Check it's just the bolt missing and the captive nut hasn't been pulled through the floor.

The bolt is a Standard Metric Size.

I mounted my seat 1 1/4" to the Rear and had a Block made up to extend the Front of the Seat. I needed a Longer Bolt to replace the Standard one. They are available at most Hardware Stores:

Normally a torx bolt, but a straight forward 8mm (as Paul says) will do the trick, nothing really special, they just have a lead to help find the hole but as you have 3 in already it will not be a problem

Probably cost about a £1 from a dealer

Thanks guys.

I have ordered the bolts from David Manners for a 50p each, minimum order of 3 pieces. Thanks for your help.
