Yesterday I was on the way to my gf's house and long story short I ran through the deepest puddle. After this happend I looked down at the dash and the transmission fault light had come on and the car went into limp mode. I got the dreaded p0743 code and the scanner at autozone said electrical problem or tq converter solenoid short. Please help me out im missin work because of this. I'm scared to drive the car. There is the highest probability that water shorted some contacts , and that when it dries, the fault will disappear. I would try and clear the fault with the scanner tool and see if it comes back. My guess is that it won't.

 

Just dropped the car off to get it diagnosed at the dealer. Hopefully all is well and it will be a simple fix.
