Default Help with a Part number

Hi Guys.
As I was swapping out a fouled fuel injector, I attached a fuel pressure gauge to the schrader valve on the drivers side injector rail. When I got the car all back together and started her up, I found that the schrader valve failed to re-seal and is now spitting gas whenever the fuel system is charged. I have it sealed for the time being with a metal valve stem cover from one of the tires, but the rubber inside is going to give in a day or so.

It looks like a really easy fix, but I can't find the part number for the elbow that the scharader valve is on. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I have the 1997 XK8 base. No supercharger, in case thats even a thing on this car.

Thanks again for all of your help.

I believe the fuel rail is 1 piece. The schrader valve isn't a separate part number.

+1. But I wonder if the core can be removed and replaced like a tire valve. If that's the case, someone who has an old rail laying around might be willing to remove the core and send it.

This is all just guesswork, and I am not going to attempt to take mine apart to check.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Looks like you were correct. The rail is one piece. However, the schrader valve is attached to what the shop manual is calling the fuel cross-over pipe *the hyphen is needed for the search string in acrobat reader*

For anyone else that needs this particular fix. The part number is NCA3027AF and includes the hose and the two connecting elbows that attach the pipe to each rail respectively. The schrader valve is attached on the drivers side. Looks like its gonna be somewhere around $100 to $150 to replace.

Thanks again.

It is one piece and attached is jagbits quote for one. You could also probably find one used from everydayxj. Check his website. the xj8 and xk8 use the same hose.
