Plenty of reputable online suppliers out there. Several are forum sponsors. See their ads on top, bottom and sides of the forum pages.

I have also had good luck with RockAuto and PartsGeek.

Yes, if a reputable dealer like RockAuto or Partskeek sold these units, I would be sorted. It's not unreasonable to assume that a "Platinum Curt Dealer" (sic) like TrendsAuto or HitchAnything would be able to do what they say... in platinum fashion.

The deed is done, and this is easily the most useful mod I have done to this car. The best thing about it is that it's almost invisible when not in use.

Quite easy to install too - four holes need drilled into a section beneath the bumper, and the bumper does not need to come off. 90 mins is all it took, and another 60 mins for the wiring and testing.

Thanks to wUnderCarParts - We put U back in cUstomer Service - Homepage and their Ebay portal for coming though. They were a pleasure to deal with. Bad karma to TrendsAuto and HitchAnything for taking money and then telling lies, forcing credit-card-company intervention.

I had a couple surprises installing this on my '99 XK8 convertible. First, the two weldnuts on my car were already being used by diagonal chassis braces. I replaced the original bolts with the ones from the kit, because the old ones were rusty, and it worked fine.

Second, the vertical piece on the rear of the hitch wouldn't go flush up into place until I persuaded it with a floor jack.

Hardly visible once it's installed. I'm going to spray the carriage bolts black to make them less obtrusive.

The diagonal braces were already using the weldnut holes, but the bolts are more than long enough; I installed the braces below the hitch.<br/>
