Hi, all!

2003 XKR.

I'm getting a "hood not locked" warning on my dash, even though both
sides of the hood are locked very securely.

Could this be some kind of switch causing this problem?

If so, where is it located? Is it hard to replace?

Ed, the message is referring to the convertible top, not the engine cover.

'Bonnet' is the engine cover on a British car.

Try cycling the convertible top.

 

Also look at your pump fluid level and that the petcock on the pump is closed.
