Default Hoses to nowhere

2001 XKR convertible. In the trunk trying to find a rattle and I discovered two black hoses one on each side of the fuel tank that appear to pass down thru a crossmember. they are about 15 inches long and extend up but are not connected to anything. Any hints please???

Top of head guess is they are drains or sorts if they are not connected to anything below, or better yet they are the emissions vapor hoses going to the carbon canisters below tank in front of rear wheels there are 2

I believe they are water drains. I remember attaching them on my '97.

They attach just behind the top of the panel. You can't see it.

found the attachments for the hoses.
Brits call them scuppers. to bad they didn't attach them at the factory. Only 17K miles on the clock. Got it third owner all the records last year. Always wintered. Phoenix with oatmeal and tan top
front ones were not connected either. Poor Quality Control and inspection.
I've found a few things as I detail and prep the car.
AGAIN my thanks
Paul

I think the hoses are water drain hoses from the roof.
