How do I check my clock?
The clock in my 98 XK8 seemed to stop working. Now it works but when you push the re-set buttons, bothing happens. Is there a way to check it out? I thought a wire may have been loose but my mechanic has checked and all seems to be ok. It worked one day and then it didn't. I also have lost the little green light that shows the side marker lights are on as well and he can't seem to figure that out either. HELP please

If the clock is working but just the time set buttons are not, then there is a fault in the 3-gauge cluster itself. I cannot say for sure, but this type of fault may be repairable if you could remove the cluster and send it to me . Otherwise used 3-gauge clusters run about $50-$100 on ebay. All years are interchangeable for the XK8.
If it is the green blinker light that is out there is a light bulb that can be replaced pretty easily from the back of the instrument cluster. If instead it is the rectangular green light with the headlight symbol, it is probably a light bulb also, but the instrument cluster must be opened up and partially disassembled to access it.
