The door works fine ,closes easily ,window goes into its groove, but it just looks out . How would you do it?
The traditional way is to put a length of wood under the door with it slightly open and put a jack under it to bend it up . Cannot find any crash damage inside the door or under the hood or wheel arch. There is sufficient movement in the B post latch to move it up and no play in the hinge pins.
Owners who have jacked up their doors in the past to address the sagging issue typically report back that it is only a temporary fix. Check your door frame hinge area for signs of metal fatigue. Some members here have had to do some welding patchwork in order to truly repair their sagging issue....
Thanks Jon....So its a common problem from what you say and jacking up the door not a no no.
would be interested to know if the fatigue was in the door or the A post .
I did contemplate shimming the lower hinge on the drivers door ( about 2mm)
