How easy to remove front seats?
I am thinking of taking the driver's seat out, so I can leave it for a couple of days with an upholsterer to get the leather in the side bolsters replaced.
How easy is it to remove the front seats? I am thinking 4 bolts and a couple of connectors to unplug, but knowing Jaguar it is going to be 10 times as complicated.

Yes, super simple. Just slide the dear forward and remove the rear bolts. Slide it back and remove the front bolts. Tilt it back and unplug one or two connectors. I think there is a plastic piece on the left did of the driver's seat that needs to come off to access the front left bolt, but it just slides forward and pops out. (although I might be confusing that with my BMW.).

I just removed my drivers seat this weekend to do the roof hose repair. It was easy, but what you should do is move the seat forward with the power button, remove the rear 2 torx screws (*and mark with tape on the floor rails which hole the screw came out of. I think it was the third hole from the back on on side and the second hole on the other side). Then power the seat all the way back and disconnect the negative battery cable. Wait at least a minute before unplugging the two connectors under the seat so you don`t deploy the airbag. What I did was remove the 2 front screws and tip the seat up and back to unplug the 2 connectors. Then just lift the seat out and your on your way....

Will do. TBH, I still can't decide whether to have the bolsters done here in France (probably less competent, less used to Jags, but more convenient), or take the seat over to the UK in my van and get it done there more 'professionally'...
This is what my seat currently looks like. It's not too bad, but I am not 100% happy (notice also the baggy centre section of the squab).

Don't do it in France, unless you want to have the work done twice or not to satisfaction.
At least where I live you can't get anything done the decent way.
One the photo you posted, I hardly notice any wear.
By the way a proper upholstery shop can do the refurbishment with the seat in the car.
they sand the worn spots down to make it smooth and spray paint/dye on the spot.
Just give the shops a visit prior taking out your seat.
