How Many Miles does your XKR have?
Say Diddion, .... How far could you drive on a full load of Propane and how much did it cost per mile? Could you find propane easily enough to just launch out on a cross country drive? Was it gaseous or LNG? Did the tank occupy much more space than the stock tank? Was the car still fast enough? Very Interesting.

I'll answer your question in the following thread, which you may find interesting: It starts in 2011, which was when I had my car converted, and there have been many updates recently (from me and others)

I've had my fourth owner Jag for less than a week. Lots of little stuff but work g thru one at a time. Its a 2003 XKR convertible that just turned over 80000 miles. Hooked and in love!

Mine is an 02 xkr with 52k miles. Black anthracite convert just took the tank out to replace the fuel pumps. Bought it from the estate of another Viet Vet. Just ran into this problem. also have others !!

Regardless of the miles, these cars are getting pretty old in years. I've found that NOT driving older cars exacerbates some problems, especially electrical and hydraulic. Once you get the problems sorted make sure you drive the car regularly. You don't have to beat it to death, but do drive the car.
130,819 miles on my 2006 XKR. Just finished a week long 1630 mile tour to visit 3 Jag Club Concours with 9.97 avg (driven class of course), still looking purrrrty. Ran great, no problems (and no tickets either
