wow~ amazing! what's the story with the low mileage?

im the 3rd owner on mine. first owner drove it only 1,000 miles every year. the next owner was a Dr. and drove it everyday, all day. which is what i am doing now, myself. i am curious to see who has the highest mileage on an original engine...i have heard of some Jag's going well into triple digits.

Thanks it's weird.. I guess an owner in Park City Utah bought the car and had it sit for very long periods of time.. when I decided to take the leap with the Jaguar XKR I was looking on cars.com and the lowest mileage car I could find ended up at a local dealership here in Salt lake City so.. crazy...

Anyway just recently got a job and debating keeping it... the car has been stressing me out - it's a super nice car but .. like someone said the car seems to own me and not the other way around.. it's currently for sale but no biters.

Anyway thanks glad to see these cars do well as a daily driver which I might be doing pretty soon (nice car/color)

Thanks yeah.. it's.. I don't know what my problem is but I'm paranoid where I park it, I think about it all the time..when I'm out at a social place I can't stop but worry about it.... worried about something failing most of the time - nicest car I've ever owned and I drive it like I'm Trump in a limo lol..

So yeah.. we'll see but these are really nice cars. Smooth and powerful. Thanks good luck to you too!

Exclamation

Ms. Bluefin,
My XKR has 86,000 as I use it everyday! I bought this one with 44,000 miles but found soon after that the original owner had treated it very badly....I had to have the Motor rebuilt at 53,000! I took advantage of the tear-down to have the Heads cut to raise the compression to 9.5 and then had them Ported.... Also, Ceramic coated the tops of the Pistons and the combustion chambers and of course changed-out the 2 Supercharger Pulleys. I love to play with the Porsche's and Vette's....It's fun!
