Arrow How Many Owners Use There XKR & XK8 As Daily Drivers ?

I have an XKR Convertible and I use it all the time and I love it. Jags are the best car hands down ever. My car is very reliable and I get attention everywhere I go in it. Driving it all the time makes me proud because I am a Jag owner. I always find myself driving gorgeous everywhere. How many other people use there Jag as a daily driver ?

I've had my 2004 XK8 since December as a daily driver. Thrilled every time I pull out of the garage. Had some expense so far, but I planned on it. Curious what a years worth of maintenance and repairs wil be. Considering aftermarket warranty as mine has 48K mile. Car was cheaper than most new one's.

My '02 XK8 is the only one in the county except for a garage queen.

Use it almost every day. Went to a local building supply store, lowered the top and put a half dozen 2x4s in. The yard crew gathered round to take pictures. They still talk about that.

I kinda use mine as a daily driver. However, I work from home a lot so there are days when I don't go anywhere. I'm actually looking for a killer deal on an S-Type right now, at which point that will become my (almost) daily driver.

If it ain't snow or salt, I'm driving it(rain included). When it's really nasty or I need to bring more than 1 person with me, BMW 740i gets driven. When it's nice and I'm not driving the Jag, I drive my Corvette Convertible(no rain).

My '98 XK8 has been out every day since Dec. 06 when I got it with 36K. Now have 94K. Only when the snow is not melting on the roads do I "borrow" the brides '07 x type with AWD. Jack

Plan to drive my '03 back and forth to the CVG airport when I go fly... except maybe when it's gonna snow (then I'll have my wife drive me). Otherwise, I'll drive it for the slightest excuse - Love It!

Mine is a toy, for riding around with the top down in good weather.

I have a distribution business and have to carry around a lot of product daily, so my Grand Caravan gets that job.

Daily driver here. But I have to point out that I only put on about 2000 to 3000 miles a year, give or take, since I work pretty close to home. If I was racking up a bunch of miles every year, I would hate to be doing it on a car like my Jaguar.
