Default How to remove 2 plasticover rider covers

I am re-posting this question as I used the wrong terminology in my last post. Anyone know how to remove the two plastic over-rider covers.
I removed the four fasteners (2 on each) but here doesn't seem to be enough clearance to pull them out. Any ideas?
Thanks

I had to remove the front bumper cover to replace mine. Someone though has posted that is possible to do it with a bumper cover in place. I don't see how that is though.

Apart from the two 'fir' fasteners on the top, there is a moulded clip on the bottom that hooks over the lower inner edge of the 'mouth' opening:

I managed to get both of them off with a little gentle prising to replace the splitter vane without disturbing the bumper cover.
