Hydraulic Hose Replacement Considerations
From what I can tell from forum and youtube research, most or all failures of the hydraulic hoses are on the latch hoses, and typically at the latch fitting.
My XKR had the hydraulic pump and four hoses replaced in 2021 by a previous owner, including the latch hoses, but interestingly not the right side cylinder hoses (strange since these should be the easiest ones to do). The black sheathing is now all but gone on the two originals. Am I foolish for not making it a priority to replace them right now? If they typically don't fail, I just can't get too excited about it; too many other projects going on with the car and other things, so it'll go on the long-term to-do list, unless experience of others compels me to get it done now.
As always, grateful for any advice!
