On 12 January 2022, I had an engine management light lit on my dashboard of my 2005 Jaguar XK8 convertible. I have an iCarsoft LR V2.0 for Jaguar/Land Rover diagnostic tool and plugged it into my car to see what the issue was. I selected the ECM (Engine Control Module), then it indicated that there was a 'link error'. I tried this a couple of times but still got the same message. I contacted Barnett Davies at iCarsoft.usa and since 12th January he sent me these two updates;https://drive.google.com/file/d/1f6M...ew?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/10WN...ew?usp=sharing
On 15th March I indicated to his that neither of these updates worked and he wrote to me and said, “Thanks for your feedback. We will check and get back to you.” Since this date, he has failed to return various emails chasing him. I am still in a quandary as I still have the engine management light lit and not able to identify what the issue is.
Has anyone had issues with this reader or come to that with iCarsoft failing to reply?
