Default ID the ride height reference points

Searched Google and tried to determine what reference points are used to determine ride height Front & Rear . Is it the the wheel arch or rocker panel or ?????. Seems like the wheel arch directly over the spindle center or center of axle would be likely, but what does Jaguar use as the reference points? I've seen measurements but need a standard reference point to compare with. Other car have a OEM reference point, perhaps Jaguar does? This enables others to compare to a standard figure listed in the Specs. Help!

Thanks very much. that seemed logical, but one cannot assume anything on our Brit cars :-)
