Identification of oddball module

Board is labeled "parrot" on the inside. if I had to guess it's an inline bluetooth thingamabob that sits between the CD and head unit?

The Parrot is a Bluetooth adapter for the audio system. My car was wired with one when purchased. Parrot models changed in later years.
