Idiots guide to choosing and fitting an iPod adaptor
Hi. I have a 2000 Coupe that I want to major on using my Ipod use rather than the factory fitted CD player.
I am pretty confused with questions like "do I need an amp" and "how to achieve a neat installation"/ - as well as "who is a reliable supplier"?.
Can anyone offer a novice words of advice?
My current CD changer in the boot has several reference codes on it - LJA 1970AB/XXX and 5SG 007-505-00 and Z4-ACD-7645-WD.
Many thanks for any suggestions!

TBH I just use a mini FM transmitter that plugs into the base of the ipod, bought it about two years ago from Amazon & its still going strong, cost about £9.00, my ipod just rests in the centre armrest, can be plugged into the cigar lighter if needed (its a fine line about unlicensed radio transmissions but hey-ho...). Some of the more expensive ones have remotes.
If you have the casette deck in your Jaguar, this is an inexpensive option, too:

For around $40 you can put your iPod right where it's handy. I bought one a few months ago and it works well. Just plug in and play.
