Default Indie in Fairfield County, CT?

Hey, can anyone recommend a good shop in lower Fairfield County. I've tried a couple and was pretty disappointed. Thanks!

Depending on how deep your pockets are there are some [expensive] and very good wrenches that work at Miller Motor Cars in Greenwich, CT with Jag and Aston Martin experience. That said, the best place I've found anywhere near Stamford is a company called Motorcars Inc.. Motorcars is located in Plainville, CT and isn't a terrible drive from Stamford.
Give Michael (their service manager) a jingle at 860 793-1055 if service/repair is in your future. They sell interesting used cars but are better known as a Jag repair and restoration facility. As a post script, they also happen to race a Jaguar. They will certainly be less costly than taking your Jag to my friends at Miller Motorcars.
My last visit to Motorcars was for a complete rear brake job and a new front window regulator for my passenger door window. I was given a nice loaner while my XK8 was being worked on (a clean used Jag sedan no less!) and at no charge.

I have no doubt there are some talented guys at Miller, but my pockets are not that deep. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with the Plainville shop, so they are not an option. I'll find one yet!

Hi Stamford,

Sorry to hear of your less that wonderful experience up in Plainville. Nothing's perfect, especially when it comes to car repair. When you find a facility that you're happy with please let us know. Good shops are getting harder to find - and not just Jaguar shops.
