An overly optimistic buddy of mine sent this. After I stopped laughing, I knew where it had to go next. Enjoy!

Nice Pic, but could somebody please translate 'Laid' to the non-native speaker?

Thx!

That would be to have intimate relations with someone.

"Liebe machen" or "Ficken" if you are more colloquial. German was my language way back in college, and I lived there for six years, though so much of it is gone now...

Thanks for the 'de-mystification'! That could be an explanation why I couldn't find it in any translator :-)

I have the same Probs, learned english in school 30 years back and the only contact to the language happens on casual business com.

@theweeb: Don't argue: as you can see, the really fundamental things remained!

But: Although this term may be appropriate, I hope, I will never catch an XK8 owner with trousers down...

Greetings
Wolf

Try the Urban Dictionary - very useful for slang (sometimes even we have to use it).

That's it! Thx a lot!
They have some really useful terms at hand, never heard 'procaffenating' before (essential for the it-crowd...)

BTW: Where can one get the poster in native resolution? Like to have it pinned to my office-wall.
Greetings
Wolf

Sorry Wolf. What I posted is the original. I don't even know what its resolution is (as attached). But putting up in the garage "would" be cool.

If on a Windows PC just right click on the image and save it, you can then print.

Knock yourselves out on the repros guys. No copyright issues here. Just some creativity. (And wishful thinking - lol).
