Default Installing Mina Performance Package

Just got my 06 XKR home and will be installing the Mina supercharger, air intake and exhaust system.

I will report when done - need to do it now while I'm excited about the new car and irrational.

James,

Have you had a chance to install your upgrades? Thinking about the S/C pulley upgrade on my XKR.

hey guys, i looked carefully at the mina intake and thought it was a quality piece. after a good deal of research though i decided to put in a pair of K&n filters which have been wonderful for unrestricted air intake and great sound under acceleration. be warned though that both front fender liners have to be removed and the car on a lift so the front wheels can drop down. my main reason to use the k&ns was to not risk losing my warranty from jag and the end result was a lot less complicated and expensive. my xk intake sounds like a pair of 4 barrel carbs or a pair of webers when it gets on the cams at about 2500 rpm. that teamed with the fabulous factory exhaust note from the new 5 liter is orgasmic. i never turn the sound sysytem on now.

rock on, bud
