Default Instrument Cluster Project - What bulb is this?

Nooo I'm not talking about your typical instrument cluster bulbs that just snap in and out of the back

I have 1 light that is never illuminated on my instrument cluster, the headlamp/headlight, yes even when the lights are on at night! After messing with the snap-in, snap-out bulbs for awhile I realized there must be another bad bulb that I can't see. After taking apart my instrument cluster I found the culprit, see the bulb circled in red in the attached photos... that's it! Luckily you can just pull it straight out of the white socket. But there is nothing printed on the bulb that I can see.

So guys, what do you think, what kind of bulb is that?

I lied! After looking with a magnifying glass it does look like there are faint characters that say:

N H 8
7 3 K

The only other easily removable bulb to the left (I should probably replace both) says:

N H 8
7 3 G

Still not very familiar with light bulbs and google didn't come back with any relevant results but I think this will work for both http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/s...-ll/10030983-P . Will it?

Sorry I don't know. However, what are the car details? Are there any identifying numbers etc on the cluster overall? On the PCB? Someone may have one they can check.

Those are ultra tiny E73 wedge base bulbs. Easy to get online, but may not be at your corner auto parts store. Here is a cross-reference page: E73 USA - incandescent - miniature lamp light bulb lamp - donsbulbs - light bulbs lamps valve valves tube tubes

JagV8: Issue is resolved now but for reference: It was a 2000 XKR, it's hard to make out the part number but I think it's LJD4300KC. I'm pretty sure it would be the same procedure/bulbs for any XKR/XK8 97-06.

WhiteXKR: Will the Sylvania 73 LL from my local auto parts store hurt the cluster? I looked at the specs on the link you posted and I compared them with the specs of the Sylvania 73 LL which I could purchase at my local auto part store. I noticed volts, amps, watts, filament, m.o.l., l.c.l, and cp were all identical. The only differences were the i.lumens 4 vs 3, base W2x4.6d vs W2.1x4.9d, and glass T1-1/2 vs T1-3/4. I figured with that close of specs I would give it a shot and sure enough they work perfectly...

If anybody would like a write-up just let me know, it's pretty easy to do once you figure out how to take the little connectors off the back of the cluster.

It sounds to me like it is probably OK.
