Those of you using this great little tool--about 20 bucks on ebay------what have you done about the small mic.?

The unit in my car works great, but the mic is so far away, I'm told by receivers of my phone calls, that the volume of my voice is very low. Is there anything that can be done to help this out?

I had started a thread about this little beauty some time ago ("Poor Man's Bluetooth"). Admittedly I have not used it much since my drives are typically short to-and-from work. But I wanted the capability for the occasional longer drive for business, etc. Anyway the first thing I did when I received this was to try it out by streaming music from my phone (Galaxy S6) and calling the wife to see how the phone quality worked. She said I was coming through loud and clear but I was talking louder than normal conversational. Does everyone you call complain of your voice volume?

Yes on the phone calls. My wife says it sounds like I'm yelling --which I'm not, but pretty darn close.
I've read where someone had replaced the very short mic cord, but it's so small I don't know if I would have the skill.
