Dear Sissy whatever.....
Since you are in Zimbabwe, possibly there is a language barrier.
In your XKR Owner's Manual CD, open to page 4,892.
Scroll to paragraph 16,988.451-3.
Open the sub-heading on "AT&T".
When that section opens, find "texting" subheading. Open a new window at this point.
Find the "country" of your choice.
Click "Canada".
Now, using the special 50 foot CAT5 cable in your factory toolkit, open the glovebox on your Cat, plug the CAT5 into it.
Extend the cable to the USB on your computer.
Plug in you computer.
Start the vehicle.
A window will open asking if you want to connect?
Click "yes".
This will take about 7 hours for the download to complete.
Make certain you have a full tank of gasoline before you start.
That should take care of your texting problem.
