Issues 2006 XKR W/ low miles?

06 is the end of production and most if not all issues were sorted out, as with any 10 year old car check all the rubber parts and the front suspension is a weak point for premature wear on Jaguars. This is all due to age not mileage.
Other wise if the price is fair and the condition good I'm envious, I'd trade my 03 XK8 in almost perfect condition for an 06 XKR any day of the week!

I have had my 2006 XKR for 2 yrs now and it has performed flawlessly. I was advised to buy the latest model possible as most of the known problems had been rectified by the end of the series. Just have it inspected by someone who knows what their doing. They are great fun to drive and own.

I had a 2005 XK8 4.2-S Final Series before my present XK and it was troublefree apart from front suspension bushes. If I had kept it, I'd definitely have changed the transmission fluid and filter. This is not a scheduled maintenance item but should be factored into any potential purchase deal.
Check the FAQ's ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ts-data-29800/ ) for regular issues.
XK8/XKR production ended on 27th May 2005 so a 2006 model was actually built before then.
