Default It's been an entire month now and no problems!!

You'll see from previous posts that I've had quite an adventure my first two months of owning an XK8. However, it's now been an entire month without any problems... even to the point that my airbag light (on ever since I got it) went off!!

Here's a recap:

There's been a new problem each week I've had my Jag, but I'm just chalking it up to growing pains.

A few weeks ago I got the code P0302 and P0303. Turned out there was a vacuum air hose leak and misfiring #3 coil. Replaced/fixed. $300. Not too bad.

Then restricted performance (but car drove fine). Cleaned mass air flow sensor, unplugged battery for 24 hrs. Fixed it.

Recharged battery.

Got oil change (non-synthetic 10-30) new filter.

Low coolant light. Filled it w/ green. Light disappeared.

Yesterday, suddenly started rough idling and I knew what was about to happen. Engine light... p0307 and p1316.

Gonna try to swap coils and look for oil puddling in the cylinder before taking it in.

*UPDATE: Just needed a new coil. Now runs like a boss!

Now you've done it, the Jaguar gods will certainly smite you now for showing off. You better go take a few full throttle runs to appease them.

Good for you, just like a great women, when they are good they are the only one in the world but when they act up, well that's another story....

I just awoke mine with no problem after a 4-month sleep. I could swear it's peppier after its long rest.

Hey I like that tan on silver combo you have. Do you have any more photos of it?

It's Seafrost, which is a greenish blue (or a blueish green).
