OP's link is dead. I was just trying to figure this all out. There are other, more affordable options like Autocross... I hope this isn't a hijack but helpful resources. I note that waiting for the Jag schools would take years... but the non-brand specific clubs seem to provide more options, too. Any recs, advice, comments are welcome.... these links are regional but will lead to your areas pretty quick......
I signed up for about $80 at Sears Point in early May. It's the first link. "Trackmasters" for NorCal people who want to hit the track north of Sac, or Sears Point Sonoma...
http://trackmasters-racing.com/
Looks like SF SCCA does some events in Monterey at the old Fort Ord airport in Marina? http://www.sfrscca.org/
Also SF Speed events? Events Registration:

Nasa NorCal seems to have a track day this weekend at Sonoma? http://nasanorcal.com/
A general "where 2 race" board: http://www.where2race.com/events
Obviously I want to do the real course with Jag again... I did that in Sonoma last classic car show. I imagine it happens seldom?
