I am having a new windshield installed in my 98 XK8. I need the windshield molding trim clips, plastic, white, 70MM (Quantity 12) and 35MM (Quantity 2), which were missing. I have the molding trim. The dealer wants $11 for each clip = $154. Does anyone know of a cheaper source for these clips? The part numbers are GJB 8812 AA and GJB 8812 BA. Local auto glass shops all have said it is a dealer only part. A Google search was not helpful. Anyone know of a good place to purchase?

that might be a great time to make sure your dash vents are glued down and dont start to rattle/squeak

Still not exactly cheap for a plastic clip, but way better than your local dealer.

 

I got mine from Nalley I don't think they were that high. but that was a year ago. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and pay.

 

I just had the Safelite guy order them through the local Jag dealer and his cost was $3.14 each. GJB8812BA
