Jaguar XK8 - won't start after fitting new battery

my xk8 wont start after fitting a new battery the starter motor just clicks. checked all fuses.

Welcome to the forum.

Don't get the feeling no one wants to help. Seeing as you replaced the battery I would start there. It's not unusual for the crimp on the cable connector to be corroded, so inspect that closely. Next the connection to the big fuses forward of the battery and of course, the ground strap.

But wait, have you checked that the battery you put in is fully charged?
