Default Jaguar XKR 2002 Adaptive Cruise Control Radar

Hello
I have to change my Cruise Control Radar : located in front of the car . ACC KO
If i'm correct the Part# : xr837669
I am really desperate because the price is very high.
Is there a solution with something compatiple...
I find newer models around 300£ .. which is more resonable
thank you in advance for your help

To my superficial knowledge, this module is located in an area prone to corrosion and sometimes fail. Unfortunately, not many cars were equipped with this feature and the parts are hard to find. Have you looked at somehow having it rebuilt? Some companies out there are very good at locating component chips and re-solder them on, or shunting corroded tracks for long lasting repairs. Are you able to get to the circuit board? Are there obvious signs of damage? From memory, the system calls for a calibration of sorts, likely to be done with the factory SDD/IDS, after replacement. If you are able to get diagnostics codes, you might be able to do a better search for past instances. From memory, there is a long write-up on this forum about someone working on this radar module.

Bonne chance, tenez nous au courant.
