Default Jaguar XKR recirculation vent problems

I have a heating problem and I guess I have a couple of questions...

I have read and am having a hard time figuring out how to best get to the servo motors for the recirculation flaps under both the driver's and passengers side foot wells. They appear to be and are reported as stuck or seized... See below.

And, being the dumb *** I am, getting frustrated facing a nice little list of things this car needs, on the passengers side I got a little impatient and gave a tug on the vent flap with a hooked pick tool ~~~ trying to free it up, lol... Well,,, it's flopping around pretty freely now!

I can see (I think) both motors... In y'all's experience, what's the best way to get to them or manually dislodge?
