RIGHT SIDE YELLOW CONNECTOR OPEN TO IDENTIFY WIRE'S

ALL BACK TOGETHER WITH THE TEMP NUMBERS ADDED.....

Well i received my temp real gauge from the JagWrangle,
Fast delivery from the USA to the UK

So today was the day for fitting, followed all tips and used the online installation guide and all went well...

My tip for the installation is;
When you do the right side yellow connector and have identified the wire's, USE SOME TAPE TO MARK THEM.
Then you can tap the connection's with out losing the wire's and having to recheck the pin number's..

All in it took 4hrs 25min for me to do, Well worth the time and money.

I’m planning to purchase and install Real Gauge and noticed everyone uses Fahrenheit, does it come with a Celsius scale as well?

We normally ship only Fahrenheit in the Continental US, unless requested otherwise.

We ship both Fahrenheit and Celsius everywhere else.

Seems like this policy works for almost everyone

Alright, when I order, I’ll be sure to specify Celsius. My education in sciences has made me more accustomed to Celsius.

Good job! One small step in the US SI (i.e. 'real units') revolution. I fail my students if they use english units, except to get rid of them as the first step in calculations. The only alternative to degrees C is K. Don't want the multibillion dollar interplanetary probe inadvertently slamming into the target planet, or back into our planet because the engineer was unable to adequately reproduce the 63 steps needed to use a random melange of english units.

Probably no demand for the alternative in Kelvins, but come to think of it, that would be pretty cool.

I imagine it would be hard for the general public to grasp that 273 K is the freezing point of water and 373 K the boiling point of water.

.......at 760 mm Hg. Just being pedantic.

Not SI (kPa). It's likely you fail, but I'll need to ask the teaching assistant, I avoid grading things myself.

Dammit, I stand here both humbled and corrected.

However, I have to take issue on the temperature point, since, of course, with the precision and discernment renowned of Jaguar owners, it is necessary to acknowledge that the 0 to 100 temperature scale is 273.15 to 373.15K. Clearly, the Kelvin scale is not only more fundamental, it is obviously easier to use. All RealGauge dials should henceforth be marked accordingly.

With, I hope, all future references to temperature being on this scale, should one wish to communicate with, for example, a non-Jaguar owner, the conversion is easy and quick, merely by deducting or adding 273.15. For example, 62C is 335.15 or, if you get it the wrong way round, it is -211.15K which is Absolute rubbish, if you get my drift

I'm just working on switching the Nav screento gauges, and installing the RealGauge with oil pressure. I have a couple of suggestions:

1. When the instruments are out, it's the perfect time to change all of the bulbs. If you don't you just know that one will fail within a few minutes.
2. Meguires PlastX does a GREAT job of cleaning up those plastic instrument lenses.
