Couple quick questions on Monday morning......
So Ive noticed recently that when using the fan only mode with the windows up that the smell coming from the vents is rather stale. Is there an interior air filter on these that can be changed ? Or....... anyone have an idea what I can do to fix the smell.
Secondly, last week while sitting in the car with it running waiting for a friend I smelled gas. Not bad but I did smell it. Cant believe this is normal so....... any thoughts ? places I should check ? car isnt leaking anything that I can see and the smell is inside only and not with the fan on or the heat or ac.

This smell is due to the water condensation inside the evaporator core. Evaporator drops water from condensation it settles in the housing and becomes stagnated and causing bad smell inside the car interior.
Many cars (might be yours) having the fuel pump that is accessible directly through the driver cabin. so piossibly due to the shrinking of pump seal you're smelling the gas inside the cabin.

Regarding the gas smell, there a several possible causes. There are two factory TSBs on the subject. See this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...s-smell-50466/
