Default HOLA! Check out this coupe

Yeah....that's what I mean!

Jaguar : XK Jaguar : XK | eBay

I would put a set of the mesh LeMans style wheels on it, but otherwise the look is pretty hot.

Well, we are all entitled to our opinions and our taste, but to me, a Jaguar is supposed to represent style, class, a certain level of elegance, and refinement. (and, I suspect that that is what Jaguar is going for as well) This car does none of those.

Jaguar should find the guy who did that and sue him for defamation of character.

It's reached the reserve.

Looking at the photos of the engine bay, there'll be no need for a hunt. I think we'll be hearing from the new owner in about six days time.

Well said and, as I have said before, there is a special place in hell for people who do such things to Jaguars.

I don't know if they should go as far as Hell, but certainly Purgatory. (It's a Catholic thing, where you are not damned to Hell, but sort of like Probation, where you serve your term, and if you don't screw up, you go to Heaven)

The paint job is certainly unique, everyone needs to remember it's a tribute to a racing jag thus the over the top flashiness.
I'm not a fan of the spoiler but love the rims and front grill. The tail light mod looks not so good. The front drivers seat looks in amazing condition for such an old car! I'm glad one of these can get 140k miles on it and be still around! For 5K it's a steal.

They have tried to copy the GT race XKs, my own race XK will be painted similar, not sure I would do it to a road car though!

That's beautiful! Jaguars are also known for their power and performance. The XKR is not a frail woman....it's a stud that can compete with the best.

You see those louvers over the front wheel wells? I've always had a dream of putting those on my car, but it would take a master-artist sheetmetal man and a trunk full of cash to do 'em.

Default Style and Grace belong on the street; Wild and outlandish on the racetrack.

Since I read, somewhere on this forum, that we are all entitled to our opinions, I might as well chime in...

IMHO, I like the graphic, but not the stripes. Loose those damn MuscleCar "coke bottles" (no doubt off an early mustang or something) and put Superlites on it; and for Gd's sake get it on the ground and out of nosebleed territory. I would give the spoiler to any kid with an Integra. Repaint the rear and graphic with a pearl blue just a shade or darker than the front and re-clear the whole car. That way the "Leaper" is a menacing shadow that only comes forward when you get passed by the XK8.

While, I know that the car in the ad is a "tribute", and maybe for someone, a dream car. Just not my cup of tea at any price. But then again, I am a firm believer in "less can be more". Nice graphic, though.
