Just want some Idea's to start with on rough idle
The cooler tempertures are here. The car runs rough when cold and gets better after it warms up. The spark plugs are about 6 mths old and the coils were change out from a used set with 25,000 miles. There are no engine codes and the car runs alot better after it heats up. But you can still feel a little miss in it. It is a 1997 XK8 4.0.
Is there a way to test the coils with the volt oms meter? Or should I start looking at the fuel injectors system. Please note there is no hestiation when you floor it. Thanks in advance for all of the advice.

The car is supposed to set a CEL code if it doesn't feel good. Except the the fuel system is exempt from that requirement. How long from a fuel filter replacement? What is the fuel rail pressure?
You might also do the throttle body cleaning found in the FAQ sticky.
