There was a man on Ebay, that just sold a lot of Billet Aluminum shifter plates, for $65 plus shipping. They are laser cut, and look beautiful. I will put up a picture later today. I am sure they didn't think they would sell out so fast. They go by the name solar_signa, and live in Quebec, Canada. He or she speaks French. The plates are for 96-2006 XK8 and XKR five speed transmissions. If you have a broken shifter plate, these are the cat's pajamas. I can't find any more presently, but am sure they will be putting more up. As you can tell, it is just another problem I had, with a much improved solution......Take care.....Mike

I just got mine in the mail. I'll be installing it soon.

 

Wish they had this for the S-type. Previous owner must have worn a watch on their shifting arm. Scratched to **** on mine.
