Default Key stuck in ignition and she won't start

My keys are stuck in the ignition and I can't remove them from the ignition and I can't start the car either. All systems do work if I try to start the car.

Problem solved. I waited about 10 minutes and then tried to start the car again et voilà! She came to life.

Was gearshift fully in Park? Key removal and start require gear shift in Park.
You can also move to neutral for start.

Yeah, nope. It wasn't in park.

I realized that after I noticed the iPhone's headphone to cassette connecter was jammed between the gear lever and the plastic walls. The car was in park but apparently the sensor thought otherwise. I unjammed the cable and started up the car and all was well.

Phew. Glad to hear it was such a simple fix.
