Default Knock Sensor XK8 2005

Has anyone been able to remove a knock sensor from a 2005 XK8 4.2 bank 1 or 2.. Without taking the intake manifold off...
Thanks in advance,

Rob

Default Intake Manifold Off.

I have had the intake manifold off to change the valley hoses, can't imagine how you would get at the knock sensor without removing the manifold. Good opportunity to change valley hoses if you haven't done it already. It isn't an awful job.
