Hello people have a problem with my xk8 LH tail light. Its not a bulb burn out issue just no power to the LH bulb holder.every thing else works on both sides and fuses are ok. I have tried to see if this issue has been encountered before on this forum but as yet have found no leads. Thanks in advance... Charlie

This is just a suggestion, but your problem might be a burned out resistor in the light/bulb out warning control module. This happened to me.
The module is located behind the battery in the large fuse box. Pull it out, and carefully disassemble it. The circuit board has several resistors designed to create a bulb out warning in the dash readout. One of the resistors had burned out. A quick fix is to jump it and see when it is plugged back in, if the light comes on. Until you source a replacement resistor you can leave the jumper in place, but you will have a constant warning about a rear light out when your lights are on.

Make sure your tail light is grounded too, a simple check of a bulb socket and ground using a voltmeter should do the trick.
