I have the burning oil smell in my cabin after 10 minutes of running. I see in the forums it talks about replacing the IMT O-Rings plenty of advice on the 6 cylinder with pictures and narratives. However I can't seem to find them on the V8 4.0? any suggestions would be of great help.

2000 xk8 v8 4.0L

 

Others will correct me if I am wrong but I believe the IMT o-rings are only applicable to the 6 cylinder engine

 

That is indeed correct. IMT O-rings only apply to the V6 engines....
