Default Looking for the best place to fit a GPS antenna in XK8 conv

I'm just fitting a car kit in my 2000 model XKR convertible and wondering the best place to fit the GPS antenna. I'm not looking at fitting it on the dash as I don't really want it on view so was wondering if anyone has fitted one in a discrete location where it would still work well

Under the carpet in the area behind the rear seat would probably work, just below the window when the top is up. Another place would be inside the rear top trim pc's just above the rear speakers.

+1, the factory antenna is under the carpet, rear 'parcel' shelf in the convertible. Gets a great signal here.

Many thanks for your help.

Got everything out the car at the moment, centre console, all the stereo area etc. as I'm replacing all those bulbs and fitting a car kit with sat nav. Great to know I can go in the direction of the rear part of the car.
