Default Looking for less expensive weatherstripping

HI.
My 2005 XK8 convertible rear window no longer seals against the top of the door window. It appears that a replacement weatherstrip might solve the problem, but the least expensive short piece of rubber I have been able to find is over $240. A similar one in my Cutlass convertible is $10 and they look almost the same. Is there an aftermarket vendor who supplies some at a reasonable price. I would like to also replace the strips between the top and window while I am at it but that is over a grand for 3 feet of rubber. Thanks in advance for any tips.

OR if there is a way to adjust the angle of the rear window that would be even better!

The rubber gasket seal failure is common. Replacement parts very expensive. The type of rubber in these gaskets is very easy to repair with 'Super Glue' and a toothpick. Just a very little glue will make a bond stronger than the original material.

Thanks much. The low price I mentioned was SNG, so I guess I will have to improvise a bit more.

The window is adjustable if that is the only problem. I know there have been posts on this, but if you cannot find it let us know and we'll find it for you.
