Default Looking for trustworthy timing chain kit

2000 XKR, 125k miles.
I bought my dream car back in May, and have been working through several mods that my fellow forum members have recommended. Restoration is coming along fine.

I have the dreaded timing chain "ticking", so I finally decided to pop the valve covers to check things out. I was surprised to see that the upper tensioners had been replaced with the updated metal units. (no record of this in the repair journal from previous owners).

Alas though, shining my flashlight down the front opening along the top of the main chains, It looks like the lower guides were never changed, and the guides are visibly cracked. so... time to tear apart the front of my engine and do it right.

Does anyone have any supplier recommendations for a complete chain kit including the cam/pulley locks? (Some instructions would be great too). I'm in Ohio, so a US supplier is preferred, and I do not want to buy the cheap Ebay knock-offs.

Thanks to all in advance, and wish me luck.

Hello,

See link below and call me if you have any questions. Most go with the /2 kit as it has OEM tensioners/chains etc and the seals are aftermarket. (NOT Eurospare).

Almost all the kits I see online are virtually identical, the only difference is the price, and that can range from $60 direct from China, to the average ones you see on eBay for between $100 and $500. Same stuff. I've seen prices as high as $1200. Maybe those are the 3rd generation kits. But they look identical to the cheaper ones. I would probably find a kit that just has the lowers, and then find whatever else I needed as well separately. For example, you can get gasket kits for as low as $39 online.
