I've been looking for a 2003-2004 XK8 in the Windsor Ontario area without much luck aside from 1997- 2000 cars the owners think are worth $20K. The best price I've seen is $16k for a 2004, but it's in Halifax, so I can't even get to see if it's worth it. LOL.
Anyway, enough whining. Are there any around my area for a reasonable price? (I REALLY like black!)

 

If you can't find one close to you see if the seller will Skype with you. The '97 xk8 I bought was 900Km away from me but I Skyped with the seller so I could hear the motor running and see under the car etc before I flew down to Vancouver to buy it.

 

1) Join the local Jaguar club. Go to one of their meetings. Someone may very well know of a car that's available.
2) Buy one in the U.S. Try Bring-a-Trailer. Apparently not that difficult to import cars into Canada nowadays.

 

I am in St. John's Nfld. I bought my current XK8 form a guy in Ontario without ever seeing it. I paid to have it brought to a local independent in the sellers area who knows Jags and paid them for a thorough inspection. I never looked back. Before that I bought a Mazda Miata from Nova Scotia using the same method with no problems

 

Hate to break it to you, but all cars have gone up significantly over the past couple of years. My whoopty winter beater (mazda b3000) is worth more now then what I paid for it 7-8 years ago. My XKR has doubled.
