Low Coolant Light
My 2002 XKR low coolant light goes on everyday after around 7 miles of driving. The coolant tank is full and I changed out the coolant reservoir for brand new and tried 2 new sensors. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm going to make a guess that the expansion tank you fitted was the aftermarket one, possibly from SNG Barratt? Rather than me explain, have a read of: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...cement-212844/

Followup
once again you guys are right on. It’s the brand new reservoir/tank that’s at fault. The magnet is either stuck, dislodged or non existent. When the electrical expert took a magnet to the sensor it worked perfectly. The $75 electrical diagnostics saved me from an expensive ECM repair or replacement that wouldn’t have solved the problem.
