Default LSI Pressure Relief Valve

I am pleased to say that I will take over the sales of the LSI pressure relief valve. LSI has sold the last valve and will no longer be selling them. I will be getting 5 valves in approximately 4 weeks. When I receive the valves I will have ordering information posted on my page.

Well, ... someone's got to ask:

What's an LSI Valve?

Regardless, thanks Gus, for taking the initiative to keep a component available to the gang.

The convertible top pressure reducing valve was offered as a well-thought out kit by LSI Controls. It's development was an effort by Gus and Walt, the founder of LSI Controls. A search of this forum will bring out many threads on the subject.

It was with sadness that we were notified of Walt's passing a month or two ago.

It's very good of Gus to carry on with the kit, which as a limited volume specialty item, was offered by LSI only through the effort and direction of Walt.

Well done, Gus.

Steve

After replacing all 6 hoses on my xk8 and then finding out what the dreaded green shower was(top locking valve leak) I decided to purchase the pressure reducing valve and upgraded top locking valve at the same time. I am so happy that it was available and replacing the valve hoses is a pain. lol Glad to hear that Gus will make this available for those that don't have them yet. For those that don't have the reduction valve just wait, you will. The reduction valve install has giving peace of mind and I can sleep a little better too. :-)

RIP Walt..........................
