maf sensor
Just remove the MAF sensor from the housing (2 screws after removing the wiring harness). There are 3 sensors within. 1 big one with a blob on the end easily seen and 2 tiny ones hidden deep inside the vertical column - you will need a pen torch to view them. These were the gungy ones on my MAF. If you fill the column with cleaner and keep your finger on the end you can agitate the fluid and soak them for a "deep clean". Don't forget to clean the electrical connectors as well.
