Default Mesh Grill for 02 XK8 (Black)

I'm looking to replace my stock bumpers for the mess grill. Which should I get (Chrome over Stainless) and from whom? Installation is also a factor - DIY or have it done at my local garage?

Thanks guys (and gals). I may not post very often but I find the forum invaluable.

Sheridan

There is some good discussion here in my old project thread if you want to take a look.

Where did you get the grille and bumper overriders from?

I prefer the look of stainless over chrome, but it's obviously a personal preference.

I would stay away from chrome, nearly everyone I have come across has peeled!

I purchased them from a member who parted out his xkr. The 'set' is very hard to come by on ebay.

I won't do it until I can find a three piece set w/overriders. It looks fantastic.

I had the three piece on my R and it looked very nice but I like this as well, especially better than the teeth and braces look it came with.

Think you will find the original is a single billet, looks like 3 piece, and your original overiders should be ok, theres one on UK ebay at the moment, silly price as always
