Hi all , 2006 xkr victory edition. Message center display almost non readable. It was working sporadically. Now staying like this. Any help where or what to do to get this fixed. Thanks.

I assume the display has faded and it's not just the backlight bulb that needs replacing?

I think I would try dismantling the instrument pack and clean the connectors with contact cleaner. The message centre display itself has a separate driver board - I don't know if the ribbon cable between the display and the board can be disconnected to clean it, but worth having a look.

If it comes to it, you can probably just swap the main PCB from your instrument pack to another identical cluster with a working message centre - that might be the easiest way of fixing this.

There's a good YouTube video showing how to dismantle the cluster here:-
