Metal replacement for Carbon fiber Driveshaft

Anyone replaced their carbon fiber driveshaft with a metal one? My indy shop wants to know about compatability of the later model shaft (2004-06) with the earlier models (2000-03). Thanks!

subscribed...my driveshaft is making a slight 'clunk' from forward -> reverse, and vice versa.

Probably time to find a new shop if they're saying you have a carbon fiber driveshaft. Unless someone installed a custom one-off carbon fiber driveshaft in your car.
